View frescos, mosaics and artifacts of early Christian women who were leaders of important early Christian communities in Rome, sharing the knowledge and insights of Dr. Janet Tulloch, whose Ph.D. in Religious Studies from the University of Ottawa includes a specialization in the interpretation of women’s images in early Christian art.
Honor these women leaders of our faith with special prayer experiences led by Sr. Christine Schenk.
Explore catacombs not normally open to the public as well as the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, the crypt and excavations below, the Colisseum, the Forum and Mamertine Prison.
Explore the excavated city of Ostia, an excellent example of Roman life in the Christian period.
