Yes- I think that the larger question is "Where is the spirit moving us?" to begin to discern the direction of the spirit there needs to be dialogue.
Yes- Discussion does not necessarily mean "endorsement." But clearly this topic needs discussion that is open, respectful, patient, not prejudiced by an ideological agenda to the left or right.
No- There is no vocation crisis in the U.S. Studies show we would have a surplus of candidates if we allowed married men to be candidates for the priesthood. Mandatory celibacy contravenes psychological development of individuals, our own Tradition (the Eastern Church) and stifles the Holy Spirit what are we afraid of?
Yes- Overdue!
Yes- Celibacy may not cause sexual predation, but we have to face the question: to what degree has it deterred otherwise excellent candidates who are wholesome and godly, and to what degree has it attracted inappropriate candidates who are running from their own sexuality?

in our Church leaders.
Why give false hope to people? Once you realized what kind of commitment
is required, then choose wisely. Don't choose it if you can't handle
the commitment.

Yes- I did not see any response to the letters mentioned and they were not on the agenda for the meeting. Perhaps you could begin with a study & discussion of all Eastern Rites, Uniate & Orthodox the clergy convert situation. Personally indifferent.
