Las Vegas Comments

It is sad that we should even have to ask for a discussion. Compulsory celibacy is wrong.

I favor both ordination for married men (after 3 years of marriage) and marriage for ordained priests (after a cooling off period of 2-3 years).

Read in the Bible: Mt. 19,12.

Thanks! It’s important to further the discussion.

Keep up the good work!

Thank you for loving the Church. As early as 1968 – I was a dues paying of the now defunct NAPR – (Nat. Assn. For Pastoral Renewal) – I, along with others (nonsuppressed) visionaries saw the problem in the horizon and called out for dialogue – and we were considered disloyal rebels – Now life has the bishop’s attention and there must be dialogue somewhere – somehow – sometime – optional celibacy opens many new problems but growth is painful.

I am disappointed in your organization! What is your obsession? The law is the law – obedience to the Magisterium is the rule of the day. Why beat a dead horse or inflame dissent? Why should the bishop give any time to this suggestion? Pray and act where you can make a difference.
